Recommendations??

I know quite a few of you that read this blog are either experiencing or have experienced infertility struggles and I really need your help! Knowing that I am once again at a standstill for several weeks with fertility treatments, I think that now would be a really good time to start reading a book about infertility. Husband has told me several times that he feels this would help- because lets face it.......there are days that I struggle with it and Husband does not always have the right comforting words (although he does try real hard sometimes). I am sure that some of you out there have read books on it as well to cope during the hard times and I would love to hear if you have any recommendations!

I have read some reviews online and have found a couple that seem to have really good feedback:

........but of course I would rather hear from you guys instead of reading through a ton of reviews online! Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

I bought the infertility cure and honestly never read it. it was very technically and all about herbs and stuff that really didn't interest me. the other two I have never heard about so I don't know about them. I borrowed Unsung Lullabies from my local library and I really liked it. I would recommend that one.

I don't know about books, but do you read Kelly's Korner blog? She talks a lot about her own infertility struggles.

Great idea! However, I have never read any but I just went on and ordered two books! I'll let you know if they're good!

I read the Infertility Cure and tried out some of the herbs and food things they said to try, but my RE recently made me stop. Would you like the book? I can send it to you if you'd like. It was given to me by a fellow IFer. Email me lauren.m.gibson AT gmail DOT com :)

I don't know much in this area. Wish I could help! Just keep praying though! My best friend struggled with infertility and did all the treatments and once she stopped everything, she got pregnant. God is good :)

Sorry, not much help here. I wish I would have read a book at the time...I'm sure it would have helped. Because honestly unless you've been through it you do not know how it feels and all the things that people say trying to be helpful, OH MY! Hope you find a wonderful book though!

I LOVED The Infertility Cure. It's a little technical in places and I just skimmed over those parts, but overall it definitely has a lot of great information and was a huge part of me being more proactive about doing acupuncture (which has been HUGELY helping my cycles). I highly recommend it! I like that it's written by a woman who was a Western Medicine MD who then had her own IF issues and learned Eastern (TCM) medicine as well.
