Another Doctor Visit= Shopping

This morning was the morning I have been dreading all week: time for another sonogram to see if this round of injectionables is working so far. Due to several events earlier in the week, I have been an emotional wreck while waiting for this appointment to arrive. Luckily, Husband was able to be there with me- he had a meeting bright and early at 7 am this morning, but was able to get out of it just in time to meet me for the appointment! He has been so great this past week- I have been a basket case and he has been so extremely supportive and positive- I have no idea what I would have done without him!

Here I am waiting for the tech to come in for the sonogram:

Unfortunately the news was not all that we had hoped for today. While it was not all negative, we still have a ways to go if we are hoping to see any results during this cycle of treatment. Thankfully we are still cyst free (hooray!), but I have not progressed as far as they would like to see with where I am in the injectionable cycle. After the sonogram I had some blood drawn so they can run some more tests and to my surprise they asked for me to come back Sunday morning for even more testing. Apparently they want to closely monitor me over the next week to continue to watch for any cysts and see how my body reacts with more injections. So, we are back to playing the waiting game again :/

Since Husband had to go back to work for the day, I decided to try some retail therapy here:

Can you tell I was in a "grey" kind of mood??

I got a couple other things as well, but was surprised by how much grey I had bought!
I hope everyone has wonderful weekend plans! I am very much looking forward to some down time with sweet friends and relaxing until my next appointment Sunday morning!

I Always do that- shop for the same thing without really noticing it till I got home. Last week I picked up 4 striped shirts from Forever 21 and was reaching for a 5th when my 3 year old informed me 'mamma you already has one like that' sure enough I had one almost the exact same already in my arms..whoops! I'm also Loving black and grey this fall!

Ahhh retail therapy, what a wonderful thing you are!!!
It looks like you got some really great things :)

I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and to stay strong. You can do this. Just remember that in the end of all of your struggles you WILL be a mom. No doubt. You will have a beautiful human being that loves you more than you can imagine and you love them the same and it will all be soooo worth it. Keep your eye on the goal :)

Ok I'll quit now but I just know how frustrating it can be to do those stupid injections and for them not to work out right. In no way is it fun.
We are considering starting the meds for our Number 2 sweet and tiny but when I remember the emotions and time put into it, I get scared. But truly it is all worth it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I'm sorry to hear that you and your hubby are struggling with having a baby, but it will all work out! My bestie tried for a year and was about to have to take these shots that were $1500 a month...the week before she was supposed to start the shots, she found out she was pregnant! Now she has a beautiful 2.5 yr old boy!! God works in mysterious ways!

And I love all your tops! Can never go wrong with gray!
